Role summary
We are seeking a highly experienced Financial Consultant and M&A Advisor with deep expertise in Nigeria’s fintech ecosystem to lead the strategic sale or equity investment, valuation, negotiation, investor engagement, and transaction execution of our different Financial Technology (FinTech) payments solution.
The innovative FinTech solutions are four (4) and are at different phases of completion and operations.
- Project 1: FinTech | 100% Developed | Early Revenue Phase
- Project 2: FinTech | 90% Developed | Prototype Phase
- Project 3: FinTech | 50% Developed | Prototype Phase
- Project 4: USSD Utility Tech | 70% Developed | Prototype Phase
The Financial Consultant/M&A Advisor must be willing to sign our Non-Disclosure & Non Circumvention (NC/ND) Agreement before we can share our confidential information and documents.
The primary and major objectives are to secure the highest possible valuations and deals for these projects and favorable transaction terms for the seller.
Key Responsibilities
- Business Valuation & Financial Advisory
- Conduct a comprehensive valuation of the fintech platform using:
- Revenue multiple analysis
- Comparable fintech transactions
- Discounted Cash Flow (DCF)
- Strategic asset valuation
- Prepare valuation reports and pricing recommendations
- Assess intellectual property, licenses, APIs, agent network value, customer base, transaction volume, and recurring revenues
- M&A Transaction Management
- Structure and manage the end-to-end sale process
- Create a transaction roadmap and buyer engagement strategy
- Coordinate due diligence activities.
- Manage virtual data room documentation
- Support legal and commercial negotiations
- Liase & cooperate with our legal advisors throughout the transaction process
- Equity Investor & Buyer Sourcing
Identify and approach potential acquirers such as:
- Nigerian commercial banks
- Licensed microfinance banks
- Allied Financial Institutions
- Stockbroking Firms
- Fintechs
- Payment Service Banks
- Digital banks
- Mobile Money Operators (MMOs)
- Super Agents
- Fintech infrastructure providers
- Telcos; MTN, Airtel, Glo, T2 Mobile etc.

Required Qualifications
- Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field
- MBA, ACA, CFA, ACCA, or CIS certification is an advantage
